I may not blog much, but I do read blogs everyday. 

Today they actually saved my life. While waiting for my husband at the doctors, I was able to get caught up on my blog roll. Loved it. 

I then swore to myself that I would blog. So here I am.

Here is what I've been up to:

1. My sister--just over packed for a trip to the pool.

2. Sonic. I love me a Route 44 ice water. Best 27 cents ever spent.

3. Just me and my boo at the pool!

4. The Alpine Fire. A little too close to home. 

5. 4th of July FUN.

6. Firework! 

Oh and our wedding pictures are in. I'm currently in the process of going through them, but I have yet to finish! Will post some soon!

Happily Ever After

Planning a wedding is crazy.

The weeks following being married are ever crazier.

After being out of town for 12 days, I'm happy to start my new life, with my husband.

Being married has been an easy adjustment, so far.

Well Dan...after living alone for 3 months...is beginning to adjust with having a girl roommate:) 

Here's some pictures from our wedding day:)

Everything went EXACTLY how we wanted it.

We're both from Texas, but opted to get married in Utah, so our closest friends could celebrate with us.

  We wanted our day to be full of love.

That's exactly what it ended up being. 

These two are some of my favorites. Those gold doors. LOVE. We got married in the Draper Temple and let me tell you...everything was beautiful. Hands down---BEAUTIFUL. 

 I wanted our day to be full of laughter with our friends and family.

 I love how happy Dan and all his best friends look. 

 I love that man in gray, but every guy in this picture is dear to my heart. They are all great friends of Dan's and they are all friends of mine. Plus one of then is my brother in law and he is just great:) 

 Yes. Every girl in this picture is my best friend AND 5 came from DIFFERENT STATES. How I LOVE them. It meant so much that they took off of work for days and celebrated with me. They set my reception up and put together every detail that I wanted. I cannot thank them enough. Did I mention that they are all BEAUTIFUL?! :)

 I had burlap table runners and used mason jars as my center pieces and for my drinking cups.

My colors were yellow and gray with light pinks mixed in. My sign in book was probably my favorite--I had my mom cut fabric squares and everyone signed one. She is currently making it into a quilt for me. {made with my wedding colors}

We are so happy. 

Now I just have to complete the next 8 days of school. Send my little 5th graders off to summer--then its all relaxing and tanning by the pool:) I will be blogging more. PROMISE.

I've been meaning to...

Honestly.

I've been meaning to blog.

Instead I've been wedding crafting.

Ya'll I'm getting MARRIED in 16 days!!!!!!!!

Where has the time gone?!!

I think I would be really nervous, but I'm so busy teaching that I don't even think about it.

Well I do, but I'm busy. So it helps.

Anyways, in my last post I talked about something that happened to me that made me very very very happy. I couldn't announce it at that moment because I had a few people I had to talk to first, but I just want to announce that.....

I will be teaching 5th grade at this beautiful school next year!!!!!

I student taught here in 5th grade and LOVE the team.

We remained friends and now we will be teaching together!

I cannot wait until August 21st:)

I'm teaching 5th grade right now at a great school with great people:). I'm so lucky to have a job that I truly love.

Weekend Happenings

I love the weekends. 

Friday is truly one of the best days of the week. 

This Friday just happened to be a great one for me {more on that later this week}.

To start our weekend off Dan and I went and tried on suits for him to wear on our wedding day. Utah just opened a new mall {City Creek} so we were there for a while browsing around---and found his suit at Macy's. We headed to our favorite Chinese food restaurant after that {we had a lot of celebrating to do}.

Oh. I almost forgot! 

Dan speaks Spanish. I usually don't remember that he does because he never speaks it, BUT on Friday we had to go change a few of my flower decisions and add some more center pieces. Well at the time the ladies that were working all spoke Spanish. I don't speak Spanish. So we weren't quite on the same page. Then all of a sudden Dan pops into the conversation and handles the entire thing. He saved the day & possibly our wedding day:)

This post is going to be all over the place and I don't have any pictures to even make it fun. Oh well.

Anyways. My sister {check her out} has started re-doing furniture and selling it. She's been quite successful at it, so on Saturday's she likes to hit up garage sales. As she was doing that Dan and I happened to come across a FREE table {we are in need of a table} so Meghan came and picked it up for us and then we went and got another free piece of furniture for her. I started re-doing the table last night and it's going to be awesome. I'm so-ooooo excited for it. I'm already planning a before&after post!

Then afterwards we all went and ate Mexican food for Cinco De Mayo. Utah just opened Los Cucos--it's a restaurant from Houston, Texas and honestly it is the besstttt Mexican food that Utah has to offer. {Thank you Sherron for keeping me updated on this place}. 

That about wraps up my weekend happenings. Dan goes to Texas tomorrow for a week, so I'll be back with some news and a re-done table.

What do YOU do without Picnik?!!

I received my engagements a week ago (or two), but I'm just now getting around to blogging again.

I've been going through a funk. I think I'm back though. Who knows?

We are almost down to a MONTH before our wedding day.

I could not be more excited.happy.nervous.

I had my second dress fitting this week and I just love it.

Invitations go out this week.

Ah. It's all just coming together.

Wedding planning has been my life. 

Well sorta.

It's all I think about really.

Teaching has really taken over my life though.

I actually have a whole weeks worth of math to plan right now.

Lets all agree now that I'm a failure at blogging. 

Okay. Now that we have that out of the way, lets being....

March has been crazy. We are almost down to 2 months until it's Wedding Day:)

Things are coming together. 

I'm obsessed with my venue. Let's just say hardwood floors and natural sunlight.

1. I ran my first mile since breaking my pelvis.

This is huge. There were many days when I never thought I would walk again.

I've enjoyed running as of late and haven't missed a day of cardio since:)

2. Cake testing. Yummm.

3. Facetiming with the baby sis. Doesn't get any better than that.

4. Oh just sporting the earrings from a blogger giveway from {my blogger BFF}!!!!

I loveeee them.

{Whops.Turning into a Wedding Blog}

Joking. Really. 

I just got a text from my good ol bff {Katie} saying that I need to blog.

So...I'm heeding to her word.

My life has been pretty boring though.

I wake up early. Teach 3rd grade {part time}. Hang out with Dan.

In the middle of that, we try to plan our wedding.

Which speaking of, we set a date and a state.

We will be wed on June 1, 2012 in the Draper Utah Temple.

This was so far the hardest thing to do. You have to consider families and friends.

I mean...I'm thinking eloping in Vegas...{it's always an option}

Oh, and I have a dress and a wedding venue. 

So things are looking good.
