Monday Love

So this girl has a really funny blog.
And she does weekly confessions that kill me.
So today, I'm joining her.

I confess to have had more than one breakdown this weekend after taking the Praxis. It was either due to the lack of sleep or the pure fact that if I don't pass it, I'm screwed. {Thanks Katie for telling me to chill.}
I confess that I slept until 11 today. Loved every moment of it.
I confess that I started a diet with my mom last week--lost 5 pounds in four days. I felt great. Then decided I could eat whatever I wanted. Gym clothes are on and I'm headed to the gym.
I confess that after watching "Strange Addictions-Still Addicted?" I tried toilet paper. My mom and I have never laughed so hard in our entire lives.
I confess that I love the Kardashian Family way to much.
I confess that as much as the future freaks me out. I can't stop thinking about it and being so happy.
I confess that I this weather is horrible--I NEED SUMMER.
I confess that I'm not posting a song today. hahahaa. Thanks Melissa for all your suggestions.

I just recommend that you put your all time favorite song on really loud and have an incredible dance party with your best friend because dancing makes you happy and because it is National Friends Week.
I confess that I just heard it was National Friendship Week--
googled that ish.
Lets get real you don't need a week to celebrate having the best of friends--so just dance and celebrate because it's Monday and you can.
I'm loving my made up friendship week already!

Rumor has it

Don't you love rumors?
You know the kind that are about you and pretty much true?
But you won't confirm nor deny them.
Yeah, love them.

Alright, The Bachelorette just came on.
My parents just put a TV in my room. Not the best idea.
But seriously, Bently has GOT to go. I really do hope that his hair looks good tonight.
I have to say William is one of my favs, but I'm pretty sure he screws up tonight.
Even Bently said his comment was "stupid" ugh.
BENCY and his bubble. I'm in love.
{He told her that he wants to go on another date and that he wants to text her. Cute.}
I love cute text messages. {hinthinthint}
I totally understand that I shouldn't focus my life around TV.
It's not healthy. I know.
But I don't care.
Plus Mob Wives. Hilarious.

Oh here's my favorite song today.

Baby Booties.

Happy Memorial Day Everyone!
I'm not posting a song for today, but you should probably just listen to
"Proud to be an American" and call it a day.
Or if you are of Texas Blood you should youtube
"God Bless Texas" and do a little line dance:)

I spent the weekend at the Jersey Shore and got a tan {more like sunburn}.
Who doesn't love rosy cheeks and freckles on their shoulders?

More important news:
My sister and her husband, Jon, welcomed their precious baby boy into the world today.
Happy Birthday Kingston Micheal Stoddard!
6lbs. 14oz. and 20.5ins.
Yes, Jon is wearing an "Awesome Dad" t-shirt.
His facebook status went a little something like this:
"Took a while to get to the hospital, probably because I was changing into my
"I'm an awesome dad t-shirt.""
I laughed.
Isn't he cute?
I love him. I cannot wait to be his ONLY babysitter starting in August.
Also, I'll be headed to Baby Gap tomorrow because they have the cutest baby booties.
Baby booties just warm my heart.
ps. I do have a picture of mother and baby, but I'm pretty sure once the drugs wear off--she would make me remove it off my blog immediately.

Music Monday: I'm a mom

My parents peaced out for the week.
Well 4 days, but it might as well be a week.
If you're new to reading my blog-- I have a sister who is 7. I'm 23.
Oh and my older sister is 25 and my older brother is 27.
Yeah...she was a surprise, but the best surprise ever.
So this week I'm a single working mother.
Our first morning together went really smoothly. She didn't even yell at me for brushing the tangles out of her hair.
She did tell me that she "wanted her mom" to make her lunch...that didn't happen.

Did you happen to watch the Billboard Music Awards last night?
Taylor Swift won the first award of the night.
Beyonce seriously killed it.
Justin Bieber new artist of the year.
Plus he is straight up adorable.
He also kissed his gf on national television. My heart may or may not of broke at that moment.

I'm ready for summer. So I listen to country music.
All.The.Time.
I just discovered this song and lovelovelove it.
I don't know why, but you know when you sing to a song and just think you sound amazing?
That's this song.
So listen to it and love it. mmmk?

What are you looking forward to this week?
I'm looking forward to the beach this weekend.
Also, just found out I get paid every Friday.
Holla.

Happy Monday!

Music Monday: Lovely

I woke up early, to the rain.
It was lovely.
I ate my usual Rasin Bran Crunch.
Cleaned my room and got ready.
All by 10am.
Lovely.

I couldn't make my mind up for Music Monday.
All of these songs are just lovely to me.
You know when you hear a song and you think "um, this is my life?"

How true is this quote:
I love it. A good friend told me the other night that
"patience is virture"
I just have a love/hate relationship with that saying.
Anybody else with me on this?
I just can't wait for certain things to happen.
This is the summer of patience.
No doubt about that.

Happy Monday. Love all of you!

Music Monday: Pretty Girl.

Today was my first day of work.
I'm glad I have tomorrow off.
This song came on while I was at work.
It reminds me of Kelsey--its her fav.
Plus, its impossible to not start rocking your hips when this song comes on.
Don't deny it. It makes you dance too.

Can someone please agree with me when I say:
Waking up
&
Working out
on Monday's is almost impossible.
Does anyone else feel this way?
Running felt close to impossible this morning--it was unbearable.
Here's to Monday being over:)
Keepcalm.Carryon.GoodNight

oh,goodmorning

Well this is awesome.
& here is my song for Music Monday.
I love Taylor Swift, but this girl can sing.

I got a job.
I denied the offer.
Crazy? Probably.

You know whats great about having nothing to do?
You get to think.
I have a lot of time to think. About everything.
Does this make you happy, Kelsey?

Monday has come and is almost done.

I feel like today has flown by.
Wouldn't it be great if every Monday flew by?

The gym I recently joined has a movie room.
Watching a movie while running truly is great.
Listening to this song while running is also great.
Who doesn't love a great love song?
Starting tomorrow I'm giving up sugar and caffeine for one month.
I'm doing this with Kelsey. Wish us luck.
Because the minute I walk downstairs I will see...
Peeps.
{my favorite}
Jelly Beans.
Tootsie pops.
Peanut M&M's.

Okay. So I took a shower in my dads shower today.
I smell like a boy.
For realz.

Music Monday

Last night, I was laying in bed and thinking about what to blog about.
Yes. I lay in bed at night thinking of blogging. Normal, right?
I came to the conclusion that on Mondays, I'm going to post my favorite song at that moment. Usually when I hear a song, I become obsessed with it and play it over and over.
Like this one:
Love it.

The first time I heard it was on our road trip back from Vegas.
I've been crazy about it since.
Whats your favorite song these days?
&one day I'll stop talking about Vegas. Okay?

Pro's to being a college grad:
still being in my pjs at 9:26am.
watching Good Morning American&Regis&Kelly.
literally not having any plans today.
catching up on much needed sleep.
being home with my family.
Maddie legit calls me "Princess Ally"
Having time to do things that I love.
Being available to watch everything to do with The Royal Wedding.

Con's to being a college grad:
I miss my friends.
I miss my friends.
I miss my friends.
I miss my friends.

My parent's moved to New Jersey from Texas a year ago.
I'm living 25 minutes from NYC.
I'll be sure to document my adventures of the summer.
Because I plan on discovering NYC and having the time of my life.
Anyone been to NYC and gone to places that I need to go to?
I'll also be spending plenty of time on the Jersey Shore.
Here's to a great summer vacation!!
