I'm with my bff so....

I'm living in Utah.
With my bff.
Life is crazy. Seriously.
Or more so being a teacher is crazy.
Working 8-5 is not my thing. Plus I feel like I've been driving around the state of Utah.
With all of that said, aren't you glad I'm here?
I have a goal to catch up on reading all of your blogs.
I also have a goal to blog about my wonderful trip to Texas.
And maybe even a blog post about updating my life and to express to my dad that he is still the number one man in my life:)
I should also blog about how my parent's basement flooded the day before I moved out, how their house got hit by lightening, they felt the east coast earthquake, and now a hurricane.
I'm glad I'm in Utah.

In the meantime, I'm heading to target.
I'm in a desperate need for hangers.

I'm easy to please.

Here are some of the recent things that have been making me happy.
{all pictures taken via cellphone}
 1. Maddie. She is straight up crazy and if she plays in my room one more time.
Off with her head. Not really, but you think the girl would get it through her head that
my room is off limits.
She is funny though. And cute. I'll give her that.
2. I've never been a necklace girl.
Recently, I've been loving them. They seem to put together any outfit for me.
3. I nanny for those 4 feet right there.
Remind me to never have twins.

Oh and I'll be in this state in just 8 days.
I can't wait to be back in the Great State of Texas.
{We all know it's the best state in all of America. Just admit that you wish you were Texan too}
My only problem with Texas right now is:
What am I suppose to wear? Because it's too hot for clothes.

Another thing that has been making me happy is the fact that this is my last week working.
I've worked two jobs this summer.
I nanny by day and work retail by night.
I lovelovelove both of my jobs.
But having two jobs is just so unlike me. {hahaha}
So....yes....I'm very excited for Saturday.

Favorite song of the moment.

WardRobe Wednesday Bust.

It's official. Stephanie Mullin Cannot. I repeat cannot take pictures.
Like I don't know what to do--I think I'm going to have to put WardRobe Wednesday to rest until August.
This is the best one. Don't even ask my what my right eye is doing.
{Shirt:Gap, White Pants: Gap, Watch: Target}
I wear all GAP, yet the GAP won't hire me. Lame.

Here's the photo shoot. My mom and I were laughing THE entire time.
Oh well, it made for an interesting/funny afternoon.
Oh and I think I might get a job. YAY!

Yesterday I read this blog post.
I then thought a lot about self worth.
When I was in Vegas, one night we were sitting around the bonfire and the question was asked
"What is the most favorite thing about your physical body?"
That's a really tough question for girls.
One of my friends turned to me and said "I don't love anything about myself"
Having self worth and finding happiness in yourself is so vital in today's world.
The media portrays images of what a girl "should" look like. Its hard. We compare ourselves.
Well then I watch GLEE last night. It was called "Born This Way"
This song was sung.
We need to start accepting ourselves the way we are and to realize that we truly are beautiful.
We need to embrace those around us that may seem different because of how they look,
 their race, or their disability.

My challenge to you this week or even month is to choose something that you don't like about yourself
and focus on loving that flaw.
You're Beautiful. Rock what you got.
