Confessions

Confession:
Wardrobe Wednesday has become Wardrobe Tuesday.
Just for this week though, promise.
What I'm wearing: Sweater: Target, Shirt: Gap, Jeans: Old Navy
Can I just speak for a second on Ruffles? I love them. Today I layered them. I loved it.
Two beyond Awesome things have happened this week.
One being, Taylor getting a rental car. We love rental cars. Her and Alex picked me up from school is the "White Bug" rental car. We cruised main street, got ourselves a horkleys, and just chatted. It felt like we were all roommates again. It was awesome.
The other being, yesterday. Yesterday was weird. I wasn't in the best of moods and I was seriously stressed out. This week is one of my most crucial weeks of the semester. If I get everything done that I need to, the rest will be smooth sailing, but needless to say I was stressed. I had the opportunity to go have a question and answer session with the President of the school I attend. I wasn't going to go, but I ended up just going. I asked him this question:
"With graduation approaching, not only am I excited, but also terrified. I'm scared to go into the real world and not having the comfort of everyone around me having the same values and standards. Do you have any advice to those of us who are graduating and making decisions that will affect our futures?"
The counsel I received from President Clarke has been the most amazing counsel I have received in my college career. His counsel touched not only my heart, but many others. I sat there with tears streaming down my face. Hear Melissa's verison here.
I won't be blogging the  rest of the week.
Like I said, my blog will be better in May.
Have a great week and remember:
"Don't let your fears counsel you."

Picture Texts

Every Tuesday from 2:00-3:00 campus completely shuts down and we have devotional.
I'm usually really horrible at going, but this semester I made a goal to go every week.
I also have class from 7:45-4:15 so these days are longgg.
Anyways...
I always go with Melissa, Kelsey, and Ryan.
Kelsey, Ryan, and I could not settle down today. We passed notes and keep changing our positions.
Ryan even made a paper airplane and threw it.
Then...all of a sudden...
We were dead asleep.
I received this picture in a text message following devotional.
I was cracking up.
Melissa just couldn't resist capture all of us taking a little nap.
It was much needed though.
{At least it looks like I'm taking notes}

Take 3

Due to being up at 6 and hanging out with 8 year olds all day,
it was just a black and white picture kind of day.
{Shirt:Target, Skirt; Target, Belt: Thrifted, Watch: gift from the one and only}
ps. my shirt is pink.
I have big plans to have all my homework done by 7pm.
I'm not doing so hot.
Whoops.
Katie, wanna do some of it?!
At school today we had a snow ball fight.
With compound words.
It was crazy&hilarious.
Don't you wish you were in my class?

Also, this is might sound crazy, BUT
I'm popular.
hahahaa.
Like get invited to parties and actually go kind of popular.
I love it.
I even admitted yesterday that I was going to miss Rexburg.
Another really crazy sounding thing.

Happy Wardrobe Wednesday!!!
Don't forget to check out Steph's blog!

ps.speaking of being popular.
Lindee: Stop reading my blog.

I'm Done. I'm Done. I'm Done.

I'm done with this semester. Finally. This week has been long and I need to go to bed. Soon.
This morning, I attended the dedication of the BYU-Idaho Center and the MC.
It was awesome. Sometimes I need to be reminded of how amazing Rexburg is and that my education that I am receiving here will be beneficial to my life. Today, I was reminded of that.
This is the overview of Rick's College. Before it was named BYU-Idaho.
This is the most updated I could get of BYU-Idaho, but there is so much more that this picture doesn't show. See that grass field over by that round around? Well...it now looks like....
THIS. Pretty awesome, huh?
The outside of the BYU-Idaho Center. It holds 15,000 people.
Read more about it here.
This is the inside view from the top. Before it was finished.
Also, we have this.

I'm glad I was able to attend the dedication today. Plus the choir and orchestra were amazing.

I'm also going home in 2 days. I can't wait to be home.
Plus my roommate, Val, is dying of bronchitis
so I'm trying to avoid her like the PLAGUE. That's not a joke either.
ps. I GOT A B IN MATH 206. (That class has been the death of me this semester)
pps. Lisa and Steph: ARE YOU READY FOR JANUARY 5th?!?!!

finals.

Everyone I know is done with finals.
Except for me.
I have a poetry party at 5:30 tonight as a final.
Which is insane for 2 reasons:
1: We took the actual final TWO weeks ago.
2. We also already took the state tests that go along with the class.
So, why do we have to go to the poetry party?
I really don't know.

THEN I have another final Friday.
On a brighter note:
Saturday I'll be in SLC for Alex and Ben's Wedding.
Love you both.
Sunday I'll be in JERSEY.
HappyHappy Day:)

Thanksgiving. Day 3.

Right now having a whole week off of school is the best thing that is happening in my life.
Seriously, its beyond relaxing.
I thought 7 weeks off was awesome.
But let me tell ya, one week is more blissful than the mind can comprehend.

I thought about writing in detail about what I have been up to for the past three days, but I figured nobody really cares. Except my mom, but I keep her pretty up-to-date on my life, so I sure she wouldn't even care. But after much consideration about what I should blog about, I decided to tell you about my thanksgiving break anyways. So even if you don't care. Buck up. Because thats what I'm blogging about.

I've watched hours of Million dollar Matchmaker.
I've ate more calories in 3 days than I probably consume in a week. Thank you J. Johnson:).
I've witnessed Spokane's First Snow Fall of Winter 2010.
I missed a hardcore blizzard in Rexburg. Thank goodness.
I've decided to become a Black Friday Shopper.
I've tried reading "The Reluctant Saint" but its impossible.
So if you have read it, please email me a one page essay on it. Thanks.
I've made snow angels at 11pm dressed in the most hilarious snow clothes.
I've witnessed Stephanie Johnson "flirting to convert". Which made this week even more eventful.
I've slept passed 7am everyday.

That about wraps up the last three days in a nutshell of course:)
Now I'm off to either do homework, nap, or catch up on some T.V shows.

Also, did you know that Taylor Swift puts secret messages in her lyrics?
Steph and I found all of them today.
Pretty interesting.
I mean Joe Jonas now has three songs.
T.H.R.E.E is my number today.

On another note.
BACKSTREET BOYS ARE BACK.
